Distance Degree

USU participates with the Utah Education Network (UEN) in an effort to deliver courses and programs to nontraditional students. At many of the USU distance sites, it is now possible to complete all of the course work required for a graduate (MS) degree in Computer Science. All courses are taught by regular Computer Science faculty and are delivered by IP video. Because of the requirements as to what can be offered at the various distance education sites, in some cases, certain lower division classes must be completed through a school other than Utah State. All such courses have been carefully articulated with the equivalent USU class.

In working out one's curriculum, it is important that a student work closely with the department academic advisor - Curtis Dyreson (curtis.dyreson@usu.edu) or GPC - Genie Hanson (genie.hanson@usu.edu).
